Annual street maintenance work by City of Yakima Streets Division crews will impact daytime traffic at the intersection of 34th Avenue and Englewood Avenue from Wednesday, October 2nd through Friday, October 4th.
The 34th Avenue and Englewood intersection will be closed to through traffic from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm each day on Wednesday, October 2nd, Thursday, October 3rd, and Friday, October 4th while it is repaved. Detours around the project area will be available.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
While the project is underway, traffic delays in the project area will occur. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
