A section of J Street will be closed to traffic for a sewer main installation project that begins on Monday, June 1st.
J Street will be closed between 21st Avenue and 20th Avenue starting Monday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The closure will be in effect for each day of the project, which should conclude the morning of Thursday, June 4th.
Detours and construction signs will be posted on site to assist drivers.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible. Residents and businesses located near the project area have been directed to use side streets for access.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
