A stormwater maintenance project will impact traffic on a section of Powerhouse Road for most of each day on Wednesday, April 4th and Thursday, March April 5th.
As a result of the project, Powerhouse Road will be closed between 24th Avenue and 27th Avenue from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm on and April 4th and April 5th.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
