Stormwater Pipe Replacement Will Impact Traffic on Section of Lincoln

The replacement of aging stormwater pipes crossing Lincoln Avenue at 4th Avenue will impact traffic in that area from Monday, October 14th through Thursday, October 17th.

Only one westbound lane on Lincoln will be open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm each day from October 14th through October 17th.  No northbound or southbound traffic will be permitted through the Lincoln and 4th Avenue intersection during construction hours.  Local access through the intersection will be allowed overnight, however drivers are still encouraged to avoid the area if possible.

During the project, traffic delays in the area near the intersection of Lincoln and 4th Avenue will occur.  Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
