A stormwater system improvement project will impact traffic on portions of North 1^st Street and Oak Street next week.

Traffic on North 1^st Street will be limited to one southbound lane on June 2^nd and June 3^rd.  The lane closure will begin near Sycamore Street and continue south past Oak Street.  Oak Street will be closed from North Front Street to North 1^st Street from June 2^nd to June 5^th. 

Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
