Teenager Who Ran Away From Yakima Facility Located

A 15-year-old who apparently ran away from a Yakima evaluation and treatment center on Friday evening has been located.

On Saturday, Yakima police asked for the community’s help in locating 15-year-old Mia Tolman, who had reportedly run away from an involuntary, court ordered placement at Two Rivers Landing, a Yakima facility that serves clients between the ages of 11 and 17.

Yakima police believed Tolman may have been trying to go to the western Washington.  She is not from the Yakima area and has no known family or friends here.

Tolman was located and returned to Two Rivers Landing Sunday. Yakima police thank the community for its assistance in locating Tolman.
