A tree removal project will close the 100 block of South 7th Street starting Monday, December 16th and continuing through Tuesday, December 31st.
The closure will be in effect during the project work hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding Christmas Day.
During the work hours, no parking will be allowed in front of the following addresses on South 7th Street: 101, 105, 107 and 109. Vehicles parked in front of those locations on South 7th Street during project hours will be towed at owner’s expense.
The trees in the 100 block of South 7th Street are being removed as they are deemed hazardous and could cause injury or property damage.
Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area as needed.
Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
