City of Yakima crews will be trimming trees in the Central Business District next Monday, March 10^th, requiring some temporary street closures.

Tree trimming is planned south of Yakima Avenue from 1^st Street to 6^th Street. Temporary road closures in the project area will be in effect from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday. Parking spaces in the area will also be temporarily blocked off.

Access will be maintained to properties in the project area.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down in work zones, look out for workers and follow the posted speed limit.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
