A tree trimming project will require closing 6th Street on Thursday morning, September 23rd, between Spruce Street and Pine Street. The closure will be in effect during scheduled work hours of 6:30 am to 10:00 am.
The City will have flaggers on site to help drivers access their homes and businesses and also assist emergency vehicles through the work area as needed. Detours will also be posted.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible. They are also reminded the speed limit in all work zones is 20 miles per hour.
