Tree Trimming to Continue on 32nd Avenue

City of Yakima crews will continue a tree trimming project tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7th, on a section of 32nd Avenue.

The project will close 32nd Avenue in both directions between Lincoln Avenue and Englewood Avenue. Work will begin at 8:00 am tomorrow and last until around 12:00 pm.

During the project, flaggers will be posted at Lincoln Avenue and Englewood Avenue.

Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained as best as possible.

Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.

Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.

The project began today, Tuesday, to trim trees that are causing sight restrictions for traffic.
