The northbound lanes of the intersection at 16th Avenue and Chestnut Avenue will be closed from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28th for a City of Yakima tree trimming project.
Northbound traffic will be diverted from the area and detours will be posted.
Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained as best as possible.
Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
