City of Yakima crews will continue trimming trees in the Central Business District on Tuesday, March 11th, requiring some temporary street closures.
Tree trimming is planned south of Yakima Avenue from 1st Street to 6th Street. Temporary road closures in the project area will be in effect from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday. Parking spaces in the area will also be temporarily blocked off.
This project began Monday, March 10th, and requires an additional day, Tuesday, to complete the work.
Access will be maintained to properties in the project area.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down in work zones, look out for workers and follow the posted speed limit.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
