A project to replace a water main line, grind and pave roadway sections, and repair sidewalks will impact daytime traffic along a section of Nob Hill Boulevard through the summer and into fall.
The work will be done on the portion of Nob Hill between 28th Avenue and 40th Avenue. Traffic along that section of Nob Hill will be impacted between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm weekdays from June 1st through October.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction in the active project area. Business access will be maintained throughout project duration.
Additionally, drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through the work zone.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
The primary contractor for the project is Yakima-based TTC Construction, Inc. The project is being paid for with federal funds and the City’s water mainline replacement fund.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
