The installation of a wastewater line will result in the closure of a portion of Jerome Avenue from Monday, November 18th through Wednesday, November 20th. Work on the project will begin at 7:00 am and last until 4:00 pm each day.
While the project is underway, Jerome Avenue between 20th Avenue and 25th Avenue will be closed to through traffic. Excavation necessary for the wastewater line installation will result in the closure of Jerome from 20th Avenue to 25th Avenue for the duration of the project.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
The project may cause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection. Contact the City of Yakima Refuse Division at 575-6005 for more information.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
