Y-PAC, the City of Yakima’s government access channel, has produced a 2017 Video Voters Pamphlet focusing on candidates for Yakima City Council seats in the August 1st primary.
The candidates as listed on the primary ballot include:
- District 2 – Jason White, Pablo Gonzalez, Avina Gutierrez and Maud Scott.
- District 4 – Sandra Belzer, Williams, Keith Effler, Kay Funk, Chelsea Mack and Tony Sandoval.
- District 6 – Micaela Razo and Brad Hill (Joe Mann withdrew from the District 6 race, but his name will still appear on the ballot – Mann was not interviewed for the Y-PAC Video Voters Pamphlet)
All three seats are for four-year terms.
The one hour, 40 minute Video Voters Pamphlet will air on Y-PAC, Charter Cable Channel 194, at 9:00 pm on July 14th, 12:00 pm on July 15th, 9:00 pm on July 15th and 12:00 pm on July 16th.
