The Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field is hosting a U.S. military training exercise beginning today, Friday, March 22nd and lasting through Sunday, March 24th.
Aircrews on a C-130 Hercules will conduct a variety of exercises throughout the Yakima Valley and within the Yakima Training Center. During these exercises, the community may witness increased aircraft activity as they arrive and depart the Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field.
The training exercise is scheduled to take place during the daytime hours and should have minimal noise impacts in the community during nighttime hours.
