Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field re-opened at 12:45 pm today, Friday, December 29th.
The airport closed at 9:00 pm last night, Thursday, December 28th due to inclement weather, specifically freezing rain.
The airport was tentatively scheduled to re-open at 5:00 pm today, but weather conditions improved to allow the earlier opening.
