Yakima Cinco de Mayo Cultural Festival Begins Saturday

The 18th annual Cinco de Mayo Cultural Festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday, May 4th and May 5th.

Drawing 20,000 or more visitors to Downtown Yakima each year, the Cinco de Mayo Cultural Festival will welcome visitors from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 4th, and 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 5th.

The following street closures will be in effect during the 2-day festival: Yakima Avenue between 1st Street and 3rd Street, the north alley on 2nd Street to Chestnut Avenue and Chestnut Avenue to the north alley on 3rd Street.

Activities during the event include the Ms. Cinco de Mayo Pageant and the Charro Parade, as well as local, national, and international entertainment. Other activities will include a car show and vendor booths.
