The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, April 2nd.
Action by the Council yesterday included:
- Issuing an Arbor Day proclamation.
- Authorizing an application for a grant from the Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation Division for capital improvements at Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field.
- Receiving the Yakima Fire Department’s 2018 Annual Report.
- Accepting the City Manager’s response to the Yakima Police Patrolman’s Association letter and considering the matter closed.
Last night’s meeting will air on Y-PAC, Charter Cable Channel 194, at 7 pm tonight, Wednesday.

The Yakima City Council will hold its next regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, April 16th.
