The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, April 7^th, in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2^nd Street.

Agenda items for the April 7^th regular meeting include:

• Issuing an Arbor Day Proclamation
• Considering a proclamation extending the Mayor’s order declaring an emergency and a resolution approving the Mayor’s extension.
• A public hearing at 6:00 pm to consider the Hearing Examiner’s recommendation regarding a right-of-way petition submitted by Yakima Housing Authority.
• Discussion concerning offering a permanent employment contract to Interim City Manager Alex Meyerhoff.

The following restrictions will be in place for the April 7^th meeting due to COVID-19:

• Most of the Council members will be attending via telephone
• Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend the meeting in person
• No general public comment will take place during the meeting.
• Public comment during the 6:00 pm public hearing is only available by calling 575-6001. The line will go live once the hearing is declared open and continue until the hearing is closed.
