The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 15th.

Action taken during the Council meeting included:

  • Recognizing Karina Solorio, CivicSpark Fellow, Sustainable Yakima Committee
  • Discussing agenda topics for joint meeting with Yakima School District
  • Amending Yakima Municipal Code 4.16.170 Refuse Storage, Collection and Disposal and the addition of clarifying Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) language
  • Receiving a 2023 update on the Capital Improvement Projects Report

The August 15th Yakima City Council regular meeting airs on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Spectrum channel 194, beginning at 7:00 pm today, Wednesday, August 16th.
