The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 16th.

Action taken by the Council included:

  • Appointing Kristie Holstein to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
  • Presenting an Apple Award for Joey Wallberg
  • Authorizing the mayor to sign on to letter Welcoming Refugees in FY 2023
  • Receiving an update on the 2022 Capital Improvement Projects Report
  • Receiving the 2022 Vacant Building Safety Project – 2nd Quarter Report
