The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, August 17^th.

Action taken by the Council yesterday included:

• Receiving an update on the Savoy Apartments
• Approving an ordinance adding Yakima Municipal Code, Section 13.16.178, drug possession and use prohibited, to Chapter 13.16: Rules and Regulations, regarding parks and playgrounds
• Adding a discussion on affordable housing to the agenda for the regular meeting on September 7^th
• Adding a discussion on the city manager’s salary to the agenda for the regular meeting on September 7^th

The August 17^th Yakima City Council regular meeting will air on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Spectrum channel 194, beginning at 7:00 pm today, Wednesday, August 18^th.

The City Council’s next meeting is a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 7^th, at 5:30 pm.

The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall. It will air live on Y-PAC and be streamed live on the City of Yakima website at https://www.yakimawa.gov/council/live-stream/
