Yakima City Council December 11th Regular Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, December 11th.

Action by the Council yesterday included:

  • Issuing a Homeless Persons Memorial proclamation.
  • Accepting the 2019 budget for the City of Yakima, with the exception of eliminating the public education fire captain position and transferring the salary savings to reserves.
  • Announcing the City Council’s regular meeting schedule for 2019.

City Council meetings air live on the Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC) Charter Cable Channel 194. The December 11th meeting will be replayed on Channel 194 at 7:00 pm tonight, December 12th.
