Yakima City Council December 12th Regular Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 12th.

Action taken during the Council meeting included:

  • Issuing a Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day Proclamation
  • Recognizing outgoing Assistant Mayor Lund and Council members Macias and Cousens
  • Authorizing an agreement with Cowiche Canyon Conservancy for the trail use, maintenance and operation of the area known as Rocky Top
  • Authorizing the City Manager to sign a commercial purchase and sale agreement between the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce and the City of Yakima
  • Issuing a moratorium on all parking enforcement in the downtown area for a period of 60 days
