The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, December 1^st.

Action taken by the Council yesterday included:

• Appointing Councilmember Eliana Macias to be council liaison to the Community Integration Committee
• Authorizing the initiation of an airline incentive program at Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field
• Authorizing the acceptance of a $12,000 grant from the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation for an inventory of historic properties on South Naches Avenue from Yakima Avenue to Race Street.

The December 1^st Yakima City Council regular meeting will air on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Spectrum channel 194, beginning at 7:00 pm today, Wednesday, December 2^nd.

The City Council’s next regular meeting, it’s last for 2020, is Tuesday, December 8^th, at 5:30 pm.

The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2^nd Street. It will air live on Y-PAC and be streamed live on the City of Yakima website at https://www.yakimawa.gov/council/live-stream/
