The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, December 8^th.

Action taken by the Council yesterday included:

• Creating an ad hoc committee of Mayor Patricia Byers and Assistant Mayor Holly Cousens to review events across the City of Yakima.
• Directing the City Manager to conduct an analysis of the Washington Fruit Community Center facility, identify community programming needs and provide options on how to meet them with a report to the City Council on January 5^th, 2021.
• Accepting the 2019 annual report for the Yakima Fire Department

The December 8^th Yakima City Council regular meeting will air on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Spectrum channel 194, beginning at 7:00 pm today, Wednesday, December 9^th.

The City Council’s next regular meeting, it’s first for 2021, is Tuesday, January 5^th, at 5:30 pm.

The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2^nd Street.
