Yakima City Council Feb. 1st Regular Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 1st.

Action taken by the Council included:

  • Receiving a report from the Yakima County Development Association
  • Receiving a briefing regarding the 2022 session of the Washington State Legislature
  • Rescinding the motion from the Dec. 7, 2021 City Council meeting that the City designate safe parking for individuals experiencing homelessness

The City Council’s next meeting is a study session on Tuesday, February 8th, at 5:00 pm.

The meeting will be held in Council Chambers and remotely via Zoom. It will air live on Y-PAC and be streamed live on the City of Yakima website at https://www.yakimawa.gov/council/live-stream/
