The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, February 16^th.

Action taken by the Council yesterday included:

• Receiving a 2021 state legislative update
• Directing the Yakima Arts Commission to create guidelines for painting crosswalks.
• Directing the City Manager to develop and issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a scooter transportation program in Downtown Yakima.
• Adopting 2018 International Property Maintenance Code; repealing Yakima Municipal Code Chapters 11.07, 11.10, 11.13, 11.20, 11.46, 11.48 and 11.56

The City Council’s next meeting is a study session on Tuesday, February 23^rd, at 5:00 pm.
