The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, February 4^th.

Action taken by the Council yesterday included:

• Issuing a proclamation on the 100^th anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote.
• Receiving an update on Council Boards and Committee assignments and clarification on mayoral committee designation.
• Declining to direct City staff to assist the strong mayor proponents in developing the proponents’ charter amendment.

The February 4^th Yakima City Council regular meeting will air on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Cable channel 194, beginning at 7:00 pm today, Wednesday, February 5^th.

The Council’s next regular meeting will be Tuesday, February 18^th, at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2^nd Street.
