The Yakima City Council met for a regular business meeting last night, Tuesday, July 11th.
Action by the Council on July 11th included:
- Voting against a motion to rescind the City Council’s vote on April 4th that terminated further consideration of an Inclusive Policing Ordinance.
- Voting against a motion to consider asking staff to complete a draft Inclusive Policing Ordinance.
- Authorizing an addendum to the settlement agreement in the Montes, et al v. City of Yakima et al case.
- Approving a Public Park and Recreation Facility and Development Agreement with SOZO Sports of Central Washington.
