Yakima City Council July 2nd Regular Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, July 2nd.

Action by the Council yesterday included:

  • Approving a request from the Community Integration Committee for 2020 Census support.
  • Appointing Assistant Mayor Dulce Gutiérrez council liaison to the Community Integration Committee.
  • Approving a letter of support for La Casa Hogar citizenship grant application.
  • Agreeing to discuss Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) flights during the July 16th regular City Council meeting.

Last night’s meeting will air on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Cable Channel 194, at 7:00 pm tonight, Wednesday.

The Council’s next regular meeting will be 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 16th.
