The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, June 16^th.

Action taken by the Council yesterday included:

• Receiving a COVID-19 update.
• Agreeing to hold an executive session at 4:30 pm on Monday, June 22^nd, to discuss city manager applicants, followed by a special meeting at 5:30 pm on June 22^nd to discuss the city manager hiring process.
• Discussing a Truth and Reconciliation process for policing.

The June 16^th Yakima City Council regular meeting will air on Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC), Charter Spectrum channel 194, beginning at 7:00 pm today, Wednesday, June 17^th.

The Yakima City Council’s next scheduled meeting is the special meeting at 5:30 pm on Monday, June 22^nd, to discuss the city manager hiring process.

The Council’s next regular meeting will be at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, July 7^th.

Both meetings will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2^nd Street. They will air live on Y-PAC and be streamed live on the City of Yakima website at https://www.yakimawa.gov/council/live-stream/
