The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, March 19^th.

Action by the Council yesterday included:

• Receiving Yakima Valley Tourism’s 2018 Annual Report.
• Receiving a presentation on the Alert Yakima Emergency Notification System.
• Appointing members to the Ad Hoc Homeless Facility Review Committee.
• Amending an ordinance regarding intermodal shipping containers used as temporary uses.

Last night’s meeting will air on Y-PAC, Charter Cable Channel 194, at 7 pm tonight, Wednesday.

The Yakima City Council will hold an agenda preview meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, March 26^th. The Council’s next regular meeting is 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 2^nd. The March 26^th and April 2^nd meetings will both be in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2^nd Street.
