The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 5th.

Action taken during the Council meeting included:

  • Receiving the Washington Fruit Community Center Masterplan Presentation
  • Authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract with GMP Consultants for the recruitment of a new Community Development Director
  • Repealing Yakima Municipal Code Chapter 1.34: Community Integration Committee
  • Repealing Yakima Municipal Code Chapter 1.40: Sustainable Yakima Committee
