The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, May 19th.
Action taken by the Council yesterday included:
- Receiving a COVID-19 update.
- Discussing public safety and police budgetary concerns related to illegal cruising.
- Directing City staff to work in coordination with the Yakima County Development Association to begin the grant application process to assist small businesses.
- Discussing draft plan for utility bill relief in COVID-19 emergency.

The Yakima City Council’s next scheduled meeting is 5:30 pm on Tuesday, June 2nd. The June 2nd regular meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
