The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, May 1^st.

Action by the Council on May 1^st included:

• Approving amendments to the YMCA/Aquatic Center ground lease.
• Deciding to no longer hold Council Briefing meetings.
• Placing the Yakima Central Plaza preliminary design and staff report on the agenda for the June 19^th City Council regular meeting.

Yakima City Council meetings air live on Charter Cable Channel 194. The May 1^st meeting will be replayed at 7:00 p.m. tonight, May 2^nd. The meeting will be shown again at 9:00 a.m. on the following Saturday and Sunday, May 5^th and 6^th.

The Council’s next regular business meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15^th.
