The Yakima City Council holds its next regular agenda business meeting on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016. The meeting begins at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall.

Items on the December 6th agenda include:

–   Conducting a second public hearing on the proposed 2017 revenue and expenditure budget for the City of Yakima

–   Considering rate increases for water, sewer, stormwater and refuse service

–   Establishing a fee schedule for fire inspections

–   Raising the cap on utility rates for large users and establishing a brokered natural gas use tax

–   Considering amendments to the Yakima Urban Area Zoning Ordinance

–   Adopting public tree care standards and establishing a tree board

–   Accepting public comment on proposed 2017 Community Development Block Grant and HOME fund programs
