The Yakima City Council held its most recent regular agenda business meeting on Tuesday, November 4th, 2014.
Action taken by the Council on November 4th included:
– Canceling an advisory vote election next year on the proposed downtown central plaza project
– Retaining a November 18th public hearing date for comments concerning a six-month moratorium on new homeless shelters
– A recommendation to the planning commission to remove time limits on temporary signs
– Declaring an emergency to expedite repair work on Yakima Avenue caused by a water main break
