The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, October 1st, in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
Agenda items for the October 1st regular meeting include:
- Issuing a proclamation for YWCA Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
- Considering an ordinance concerning cruising events.
- Considering the appropriation of funds to address the no camping ordinance.
- Discussing the current committee structure utilized by the City Council.

Just prior to Tuesday’s regular meeting, the Yakima City Council will hold a special meeting at 4:00 pm on October 1st to interview interim city manager applicants. Also on Tuesday, October 1st, the City Council will hold the first of four study sessions to discuss the 2020 budget. The other budget study sessions are Thursday, October 3rd; Tuesday, October 8th; and Thursday, October 10th.
The four budget study sessions are at 10:00 am in Yakima City Hall. All will air live on Y-PAC and be streamed live on the City website.
