Yakima City Council October 6th Regular Meeting Review

The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, October 6th.

Action taken by the Council yesterday included:

  • Approving an extension of Mayoral Proclamation declaring an emergency order due to COVID-19
  • Recognizing Yakima Police Department Officer Frank Bowersox for 30 years of service
  • Repealing the City Council’s temporary moratorium staying the issuance of citations and/or towing unlicensed vehicles for violations of Yakima Municipal Code 9.47
  • Receiving a report from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee

The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
