Yakima City Council September 15th Regular Meeting Preview

The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, September 15th, in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.

Agenda items for the September 15th regular meeting include:

  • Receiving a COVID-19 update
  • Appointments to City of Yakima boards, commissions and Council committees
  • Discussing terms and conditions of the Downtown Yakima Business Improvement District
  • Reviewing dates for 2021 annual budget study sessions
  • Resolution authorizing an agreement with Yakima County Development Association for $1 million of CARES Act funding for a small business grant program to address consequences of COVID-19

The following precautions are in place for the September 15th regular meeting due to COVID-19:

  • The meeting will be conducted by speakerphone.
  • Since Yakima City Hall is closed to public access, no community members can attend in person.
  • E-mail ccouncil2@yakimawa.gov to provide written comment to the City Council. Written comments received by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15th, will be provided to the City Council prior to the meeting.

Verbal comment will only be permitted during two closed record public hearings at 6:00 pm. To comment during the public hearings:
