The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, September 15th.
Action taken by the Council yesterday included:
- Receiving a COVID-19 update
- Receiving the Yakima Police Department Truth and Reconciliation Presentation
- Authorizing an agreement with Yakima County Development Association (YCDA) for $1 million of CARES Act funding for a small business grant program to address the consequences of COVID-19
- Reviewing public comment options.

The City Council’s next meeting will be at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, October 6th.
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at Yakima City Hall, 129 North 2nd Street.
