The Yakima City Council held a regular meeting yesterday, Tuesday, September 18th.
Action by the Council on September 18th included:
- Reading a Hispanic Heritage Month proclamation.
- Receiving the Council Economic Development Committee report regarding main street revitalization.
- Receiving a presentation on the Larson Gallery’s capital campaign to fund the Larson Gallery West Campus.
- Adopting Yakima Transit’s development plan for 2018-2023, and annual report for 2017.
- Setting Tuesday, October 2nd, as the date for a public hearing to review the Upper Yakima River Comprehensive Flood Hazard Management Plan, 2018 Cowiche Addendum.
Yakima City Council meetings air live on the Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC) Charter Cable Channel 194. The September 18th meeting will be replayed on Channel 194 at 7:00 pm tonight, September 19th.

The Yakima City Council’s next regular meeting will be at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 2nd. The Council also has a special meeting at 5:00 pm this Thursday, September 20th, regarding the 2019 budget adoption process.
