Yakima City Council Study Session Review

The Yakima City Council held a study session on Tuesday, February 26th. During the study session, the Council:

  • Voted to discontinue efforts to pursue a potential ballot measure concerning the formation of a Regional Fire Authority
  • Heard a report on the 2012 Washington Survey and Fire Rating Report for the City of Yakima
  • Heard a report on a proposed Automatic Aid Agreement between the City and the West Valley Fire District
  • Gave its approval to changes in response protocols for the Yakima Fire Department
