The Yakima Health District (YHD) will hold a live video media update at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 18th. The update is in partnership with the City of Yakima Community Relations Office, which produces programming for the Yakima Public Affairs Channel (Y-PAC).
The YHD update will provide current local information regarding COVID-19 and ongoing efforts to control the virus in Yakima County by the Yakima Health District and other agencies.
It will be televised live in English and Spanish on Y-PAC, Charter Spectrum Channel 194. It will also be streamed live on the City of Yakima’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/cityofyakimafb/, YHD’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/yakimahealthdistrict/ and the Yakima Valley Emergency Management Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/YakimaCountyOEM/
The livestream feed on the City of Yakima Facebook page will begin Wednesday at approximately 10:55 am with the update in English at 11:00 am followed by an update in Spanish. It will also be available to view on-demand at https://videos.yakimawa.gov/CablecastPublicSite/?channel=2
A replay of the update will air on Y-PAC at 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 18th and 7:00 am Thursday, March 19th.
