Due to an ongoing driver shortage, Yakima Transit will not provide free shuttle bus service to the Yakima Area Arboretum for the Luminaria event scheduled next month.

“We unfortunately will not be able to partner with the Arboretum this year because we lack sufficient drivers,” said Yakima Transit Manager Alvie Maxey. “We have appreciated the opportunity to provide free shuttles in past years, and hope to renew this tradition in the future.”
