City Utility Services Counter Closed June 17th for New Software Test

The City of Yakima Utility Services Division customer counter at Yakima City Hall will close temporarily for the day on Friday, June 17th while new management and billing software is tested. Road Improvement Project on 44th Avenue to Impact Traffic

A road improvement project will impact traffic along a section of 44th Avenue during the morning hours on Wednesday, June 15th. The project will result in the closure of 44th Avenue between Arlington Avenue and Nob Hill Boulevard from 6:00 am to about noon on June 15th.  No through traffic will be allowed on that


72nd and Mead Intersection Improvements to Impact Traffic through August

A project that includes various improvements to the intersection of 72nd Avenue and Mead Avenue will impact traffic from now until the project is completed, which is scheduled to occur in late August. Road Work on Chestnut Avenue to Impact Traffic

A road repair project along a two-block section of Chestnut Avenue will impact traffic from Monday, June 13th through Friday, June 17th. City of Yakima Street Division crews will be preparing Chestnut Avenue between 65th Avenue and 67th Avenue for repaving.  That section of Chestnut will be restricted to local traffic only between 6:00 am


Cruisin’ The Ave Returns to Downtown Yakima
