Survey Seeks Input on Pedestrian Access

In addition to two walking tours this Thursday, the City of Yakima Planning Division continues to offer a brief online survey in English and Spanish to receive public input for the City’s Pedestrian Master Plan.

The survey effort began in November 2020, when the City of Yakima Bike and Pedestrian Committee kicked off the process to develop the Pedestrian Master Plan.

The Pedestrian Master Plan aims to analyze the way pedestrian traffic moves throughout the City, examines areas that could be improved, and develop a series of goals and policies the City can implement to help improve traffic standards around the City.

The survey offers residents the opportunity to provide input about pedestrian access throughout the City, from things that are working well, to areas that need improvement.
