Anyone wanting to watch live coverage of Yakima City Council meetings will have another option as of August 1st. Beginning with the Council’s first business meeting in August, all of the Council meetings held in the Council Chambers at City Hall will be able to be seen in real time through a live streaming feature

Utility Work to Restrict Traffic on North 40th Avenue

Utility work will result in traffic restrictions on North 40th Avenue between Lincoln Avenue and Englewood Avenue on Wednesday, July 26th and Thursday, July 27th. Work on the project will begin at 7:00 am and last until 3:30 pm each day. Traffic will be limited to one lane in both directions in the project area.

Utility work will result in traffic restrictions on South 1st Street between Mead Avenue and King Street from Tuesday, July 25th through Wednesday, July 26th. Road Repair Project to Impact Traffic on Browne Avenue

A road repair project will impact traffic on a section of Browne Avenue for most of each day from Wednesday, July 19th through Thursday, July 27th.
